Show Me the wires!
If you've ever ordered a "bargain" lighting kit from an online website, you might quickly realize that the kit you received doesn't look like the online pictures once installed. We like to joke about starting an online hashtag called #showmetheback because it's much easier to take a pretty picture of a lighting kit from the front than it is to show the ratsnest of wires in the back.
When we design a lighting kit, one of our top priorities is maintaining the playability of the LEGO set our lights are installed into. We work hard to find clever places to hide the wires, and with the new controller technology included with this light kit, it's now possible to control more lights than ever using fewer wires.
Nevertheless, there are going to be wires! And you are going to have to take apart some of your castle to run them and hide them. We think we've done a pretty good job at minimizing the visible chaos, but as one of our customers requested, we also wanted to show some of where the wires go. Here are some photos showing some of the places in and around the castle we found to hide the wires. And remember, your kit includes access to online detailed, illustrated instructions and videos to walk you though each installation step.
